Seth Candan began his music career in 2004 at just 16 years old. By 2007, he had recorded his debut album, Life, and released his first single, “Crawl,” which caught the attention of legendary Kenny Rogers. Despite narrowly missing the opportunity to work with Rogers, Seth remained undeterred, continuing his musical journey.

While attending college in College Station, he formed a band and further honed his craft. In 2010, Seth released his second album, The Aftermath, produced by the renowned Mike McClure. Over the years, he shared the stage with some of the most celebrated names in country and red dirt music, including Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney LaRue, and Whiskey Myers.

In 2012, Mike McClure and CP Sparkman launched 598 Records, signing Seth along with The Damn Quails. Around the same time, he joined Unrest Music, a management company led by Gino, who also represented artists like Aaron Watson and Rob Baird. With a new record in the works, Seth toured alongside notable acts such as Eli Young Band, Jamey Johnson, and Wayne Toups, building a reputation as a talented and soulful performer.

By 2015, Seth had relocated to New Braunfels but made the life-changing decision to step away from music to focus on his family after the birth of his daughter. His third album, although recorded, was never released.

Even after stepping back from the spotlight, Seth continued writing songs and making occasional guest appearances, sharing his music and life stories. In 2023, he returned to performing more regularly, bringing a fresh sound with a southern blues-inspired vibe, harmonica-driven melodies, and his signature soulful voice. He is currently working on a new album, marking an exciting new chapter in his musical journey.
